Sardar Azmoun is an Iranian footballer who plays as a striker for FC Rostov in the Russian Premier League.
His career in Russia thus far has proven fruitful, having picked up 12 league goals so far for the Russian side.
He has been particularly prolific on the international stage, having scored 8 goals in 8 games so far for the Iranian side this year.
Tottenham have been on the hunt for striking depth as of late, with an over-reliance on Harry Kane quickly becoming a real issue.
Vincent Janssen doesn’t look good enough to lead the line on his own, and Azmoun could be a perfect alternative.
Ali Adnan Kadhim
Ali Adnan Kadhim is a particularly exciting player, given that he has been compared to some of Europe’s biggest players in recent years.
His most glaring comparison is that with Gareth Bale, which has lead to him being described as the ‘Asian Gareth Bale’ – given that the pair share a position and playing style.
