Pochettino should ask Levy to sanction these 2 last-minute deals before 11pm on Tuesday

Our Tottenham fans who occupy the Tavern on a regular basis are a happy bunch of late, with their side arguably the form team in the Premier League at the moment.

Under Mauricio Pochettino the White Hart Lane club are flying, and look to be the only team who look capable of knocking Chelsea off the top of the table.

January is drawing to a close though, and Spurs have been quiet in the transfer window.

Some of the chat over at the pool table is around if Spurs will actually add anyone before the window ends, and our landlord thinks that they might well look to add one or two before the end of the window.

With that in mind, we take a look at TWO last minute transfer deals Spurs could look to get over the line at the end of January…

Isco

In Christian Eriksen, Spurs have a top quality midfielder who is capable of unlocking doors for the other attacking players in the line-up.

However, the addition of someone like Isco from Real Madrid could be a real steal.

Isco has been a top level player for a number of years now, but he is not always a starter for Los Blanco’s. If Pochettino could sign someone of the quality of Isco, it would be excellent news all around at White Hart Lane.

John Guidetti

Swedish striker Guidetti has been in good form for Celta Vigo this season, and the former Manchester City and Celtic man might be open to a move back to the Premier League.

With Harry Kane Spurs’ only real recognised front man, Guidetti would be a good back up for the England striker given that Vincent Jansson has yet to do much of note so far.

Guidetti is the right age to come back and give England another go, and he could well be an excellent signing for Spurs.
