Tottenham currently find themselves in the race for the Premier League title, despite suffering defeat at the hands of Wolverhampton Wanderers not so long ago.
The North London club failed to bring in any players back in the summer transfer window, but that hasn’t really hampered their progress in the current campaign. Although, it looks as if Daniel Levy is pulling out all the stops to secure a huge player agreement, as according to The Independent, Tottenham are willing to offer Christian Eriksen around £200,000 to £250,000 a week.
Real Madrid have made initial steps to prise Christian Eriksen from the English capital this summer, and are preparing what they hope will be a £100 million deal.
However, it’s reported that Spurs are willing to offer him around £200,000 to £250,000 a week, but it’s understood that the players concerns are not financial.
The forward is very happy at Spurs but he might be at a point in his career when he should seek a bigger move.
Of course, securing an agreement with Eriksen over a new contract would be huge as he is priceless to the North London club and the wages offered are substantial.
It appears as if Daniel Levy is pulling out all the stops to secure the services of the Denmark international for the long-term, as Spurs are willing to offer big-money wages.
