Loads of Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to a tweet from @HotspurRelated that included a photo of Son Heung-min.

The fan account uploaded an image of the Spurs forward undertaking mandatory military service in South Korea. Son is in the process of completing his work for the government as football all around the world is currently suspended due to the ongoing pandemic.

According to the Daily Mail, although the 27-year-old has been given a shorter period of conscription and is expected to finish at the beginning of May, he faces the prospect of missing the Premier League's return due to a new national scheme for people flying into the UK.

Ever since he first arrived at White Hart Lane from Bayer Leverkusen for £27m back in the summer of 2015, the South Korean international has become a real fan favourite with the Lilywhites, scoring 83 goals and creating 44 assists in 220 appearances for the London club.

The left winger has played in 21 games under Spurs boss Jose Mourinho in the English top flight, bagging 9 goals and providing 7 assists, taking 3 shots per game, averaging 1.4 key passes, and completing 2.3 dribbles on average this season (WhoScored).

Unsurprisingly, a whole number of supporters replied to the fan account's post, with one fan exclaiming "oh my days," and another cheekily adding they are "disappointed he hasn't gone for a 1 cut."
