West Ham United: Fans react to the club’s post regarding Crystal Palace fixture

Fans of West Ham United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which the club confirmed that no supporters would be allowed to attend Wednesday’s fixture against Crystal Palace.
In a statement posted by the club on Twitter, they confirmed that, after the Government’s announcement that London will move into Tier 3 restrictions due to the ongoing pandemic, supporters will ‘no longer be able to attend’ the club’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace on Wednesday, as was originally intended.
Fans had only been present at one West Ham game since they were initially allowed back into the London Stadium, with 2000 of the West Ham faithful watching the club’s 3-1 defeat to Manchester United.
However, while the news is likely to be incredibly disappointing for those who were looking forward to watching a London derby in the flesh on Wednesday, with many taking to Twitter to share these feelings, other West Ham fans have chosen to look at the bright side, as their club had been performing admirably in the league with no supporters present.
Do you think West Ham are better without fans?
