West Ham United goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski went off injured against AFC Bournemouth after taking a goal kick.
The goalkeeper has been a key player for the Hammers this campaign, but was forced off after just 34 minutes at the Vitality Stadium, being replaced by Roberto:

This had many West Ham fans fearing the worst, with Fabianski’s average saves per game being 2.9, as per SofaScore, even after he was forced off early in this match, while he also makes 0.7 clearances.
In addition, Roberto didn’t exactly cover himself in glory during the 4-0 Carabao Cup defeat to Oxford United, as he was beaten far too easily at times, as shown in the highlights video on the Sky Sports Football YouTube channel.
The Hammers did manage to hold on for a 2-2 draw, with Roberto only conceding once, but the majority of fans will be hoping that Fabianski’s injury won’t keep him out for too long.
