The Leeds fans in the Transfer Tavern are already planning their promotion party for next summer today after the news has become official that Marcelo Bielsa in the new man in Elland Road dugout. The club tweeted the news with a link to the Leeds website and the clubs fanbase are all delighted with the show of ambition the club has displayed by bringing in the former Argentina boss.

Two of the Premier League’s best managers, Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino have both previously claimed how Bielsa is a genius and that he’s had a big impact on both of their styles, which is as big a compliment as you can give. Both Poch and Pep will be hoping that they can face Bielsa next season as Leeds look destined to mount a real promotion chase in the coming campaign.
The Whites propping our bar up will be hopeful that the Bielsa appointment is just the first of many pieces of good news that the club can celebrate this summer. On the transfers front, the club will be hoping to hold onto Pontus Jansson and bring in the likes of Kyle Bartley and Abel Hernandez who have both been with linked with making a switch to the Yorkshire club over the next couple of months.
