Glasgow Rangers fans have hammered Ewan Murray after comments he made on Twitter about former Gers player Andy Halliday.
Halliday left Ibrox during the summer as a free agent, but he remains popular amongst the club’s supporters. After all, he is a massive fan of the Gers, and it is clear that the 54-time Scottish champions mean so much to the 29-year-old.

He now plays for Hearts, but he is becoming more and more of a well-known figure in the punditry world. For example, he regularly features on the Open Goal podcast. This has not gone down well with journalist Ewan Murray, a Hearts fan, who believes Halliday should be concentrating on his football rather than talking on other matters in Scottish football – especially the Old Firm.

While he may not play for them anymore, the Gers fans still leapt to Halliday’s defence, and they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
