Glasgow Rangers fans are far from happy after it was revealed that the Scottish FA have chosen not to prosecute Michael Gardyne after his alleged slur aimed at Alfredo Morelos.

On December 6th of last year, the Gers beat Ross County 4-0. However, the result was marred from the point of view of the Ibrox outfit following reported comments made towards Morelos. Connor Goldson was clearly enraged on the pitch, while Steven Gerrard let his disgust be known during his post-match interview (Sky Sports).

Gardyne was booked for whatever he said at the time, but in the post-match report it was not made clear what he had actually said. Now, the governing body have decided not to prosecute the player.

The Gers fans have been reacting to this news in their droves, and it is fair to say they are not happy – some have taken it personally, believing this means that some think Gerrard and his players have lied. They took to social media platform Twitter to share their thoughts.
