The West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping that Mauricio Pellegrino is able to turn the Hammers around. The London-based outfit clearly need some improvements this summer, as last season was far from perfect for them.
One player that a lot of fans would seemingly like at the London Stadium is Chelsea ace Kenedy. The versatile Brazilian spent last season on loan at Newcastle, and he impressed, though there’s no clear route for him back into the first team at Stamford Bridge at present.
We recently made the case to suggest that West Ham would be the perfect home for him, and it seems as though fans agree.
We polled supporters on the topic, and 63% of those that responded suggested that they would like to see Kenedy at the London Stadium.
He’s able to play in defence, midfield and attack, and so there is no doubting that Pellegrini would be able to fit the Brazilian in.
Furthermore, he’s also proven in the Premier League, having really impressed at Newcastle last season after a stop-start period earlier in his time at Chelsea.
He’s rated at £9 million by Transfer Markt, and though it’s unclear as to whether Chelsea would want to keep, sell or loan him, it would make sense for West Ham to try their luck.
