The Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be frustrated today as they’re waking up to the update from Phil Hay of The Yorkshire Evening Post that a deal for Marcelo Bielsa is by no means done, despite the fact that he currently tops their list for their next manager. A few other names are floating about though, and the club’s hopeful of having a new coach in place by the end of the week.
Back to it: Marcelo Biesla latest – still top of the list at Leeds but by no means a done deal. Club hope to have new head coach in place before the end of the week. #lufc

Leeds United need a marquee name at Elland Road. Whether it’s a world-renowned former international who can grab the club by the scruff of the neck and drag them towards promotion or a manager of the highest calibre, they need a touch of class to escape the Championship. In Bielsa, they could find themselves with just that. The Argentine has managed at the highest level both internationally and at club level and could be just what The Whites need.
The Argentinian tactician, who came runners-up with as the Argentine national manager in the 2004 Copa America, would be just what the Leeds fans are looking for. Leeds are in the middle of their longest ever absence from the top flight of English football, having not played in the Premier League since being relegated in 2004, with next season set to make their stay outside the top flight a 15-year long period.

It'll be another nobody and Biesla is just a name thrown around to get us all fired up. Something is wrong at ER but what??
