Everyone involved with Celtic will be loving watching the revival in form the Hoops have had and there is still hope for a successful season at the end of it all.
Brendan Rodgers faced his critics early on this season after failing to get Celtic into the Champions League but now they’re on their way back to the summit of the Scottish Championship and once again have a fighting chance at European progression.
Yet still, there is better to be made of this Celtic team, particularly at the front end. There is no argument that Edouard is one of the best strikers in Scotland right now but with the amount of games still to come and the back-up in Leigh Griffiths currently injured, a back-up forward is what the Hoops need.
Arsenal youngster Eddie Nketiah could be a fantastic option for Celtic and could take his opportunity at Celtic Park by storm.
At just 19, Nketiah has been on the outskirts of the Arsenal squad for a good year now, after making his breakthrough when scoring two goals in 35 minutes of EFL Cup action last season.
Although he may sometimes be featured in the matchday squad, it’s a rare event to see him surpass Pierre Emerick Aubameyang or Alexandre Lacazette in the side.
Celtic, though, have a genuine need for another striker to come and be back up for them, giving the potential for Nketiah to play more games down the line for the Hoops rather than Arsenal.
Jet-heeled Nketiah could showcase all his ability in front of goal, leading Celtic to have a much more potent attack for the masses of games to come. Alongside Edouard, the two could really achieve something.
