Celtic have, in recent weeks, been pulling themselves together to make many realise you can never rule them out of a title race, especially this early.
Brendan Rodgers knows exactly what success taste’s like having won the double treble with Celtic and despite enduring a bumpy start, there is no doubt Celtic will be competing massively for the Scottish Premiership title.
With the players certainly capable of performing, it could take a few added signings during the upcoming transfer window for the players to start reacting and performing better in order not to lose their place in the team.
For example, a striker could be a great idea for Celtic and a player of Manolo Gabbiadini’s quality would be a player who really puts pressure on those in the same position as he.
Gabbiadini, (who is valued at £10.8 million on Transfermarkt) is a player that has immense quality that could be fully respected if he got a move away from Southampton and the Premier League.
Upon making his move to Southampton, he scored 11 goals in all competitions that season, with four of those coming in his first four games in England, leading many to believe Saints had hit the jackpot.
Unfortunately though, his game-time has consistently reduced every season and the Italian is no longer being given a real chance to make an impact at St Mary’s. Despite scoring the goal that kept the team in the league last season, Southampton and Gabbiadini would be content about parting ways and he could make a great signing for Celtic as they aim to claim silverware again this season.
