Southampton fans playing darts in The Transfer are discussing news that a bid could be set to come in for their star striker in January.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that Serie A giants Juventus are readying a bid for the club’s top striker Graziano Pelle.
Pelle has continued his form from last season where he finished the season as the club’s top scorer with 16 goals, a feat he looks like beating having scored nine in 17 so far this season.
Italian international Pelle joined Southampton in an £8 million deal from Dutch side Feyenoord, and has become an instant fan favourite at St Marys Stadium.
Southampton manager Ronald Koeman will be reluctant to let Pelle leave the club, but Juventus are set to test the club’s resolve with a January bid for the talented player.
The Southampton fans in The Transfer Tavern are hopeful the club can hold on to their star striker, and hopeful that the player continues to perform well and that the speculation does not affect his form.
