The Spurs-supporting punters here in the Transfer Tavern have been drinking themselves silly for the past few months following some scintillating form, which has put their side on the brink of securing a top four finish and set up a FA Cup semi-final with Chelsea next month.

The North London-based club have some of the most promising young talents in the Premier League and the future looks really bright for those of a Spurs persuasion here in the Tavern.

A couple of ardent supporters are chatting about their beloved Tottenham over a couple of sociable pints and talk has turned towards the club’s youngsters, with a bright young crop set to break into the first team in the next few years – following the paths of Harry Winks and Harry Kane to name a few.

Joshua Onomah

The Spurs youngster has been part of the first-team squad on a regular basis this season and he looks set for a bright future with the North Londoners.

The 19-year-old midfielder might look to leave on loan at some point during his development but he seems nailed on to earn regular first-team football at the club at some point over the next few years, having already registered 31 outings at senior level and featured frequently for the Junior Lions.

Kyle Walker-Peters

The young defender is a speed merchant and his performances for the under-21s should ensure that he goes on to make the step up to the first-team.

One Spurs fan in the Tavern thinks that Walker-Peters could go on and become a similar sort of player to Kyle Walker, providing he knuckles down and learns from the former Sheffield United man.

Like his namesake, the teenager lines up at right-back and loves to get forward on the overlap.
