Spurs managed to sneak a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough yesterday to keep up their title challenge behind Chelsea.
Harry Kane tucked away a second half penalty to seal the three points for Spurs and send the fans here in the Tavern home happy.
Plenty of talk this season by the Spurs fans who gather round the fruit machine has been about the top dogs at the club. The likes of Kane, Dele Alli, and Christian Eriksen often get all the plaudits for the club.
However, like any club, our landord thinks that Spurs have plenty of players in the squad who perhaps deserve a bit more praise for their work in the team.
We agree, and with this in mind we have taken a look at TWO Spurs players who perhaps deserve a bit more respect and recognition…
Victor Wanyama

Wanyama has been an excellent signing for the club since making the move from Southampton, and he has really made the central midfield role his own now.
The powerful central midfielder does all the dirty work, allowing the likes of Eriksen and Alli to maraud forward.
He is a key player for Pochettino, and has been a shrewd piece of business by the club.
Moussa Dembele

Dembele is another central midfield player who can often go unnoticed but is a true class act.
On his day he can run games on his own, and he seems to knit the midfield together.
Dembele would probably be in the limelight a bit more if he added some more goals to his game, but he is still a superb footballer who perhaps doesn’t always get the right sort of praise.
