Loads of Sheffield United fans have been reflecting on an iconic goal from striker Lys Mousset, after his effort against Everton in September was awarded the ‘Premier League Goal of the Day‘.
Despite coming off the bench late in the game, Mousset helped the Blades to their first away win of their Premier League return at the start of the season. John Lundstram picked the Toffees’ defence apart with a sensational pass, allowing the 24-year-old to race forward and put the game beyond Marco Silva’s side.

After arriving at Bramall Lane from AFC Bournemouth for a fee just shy of £10m last summer, the Frenchman has made 23 appearances in the top flight for Chris Wilder’s team, scoring 5 goals and creating 4 assists, registering 1.4 shots per game, and completing 1 dribble on average so far (WhoScored).
Last week it was announced Mousset will be representing the South Yorkshire outfit in the ePremier League FIFA 20 Invitational. He next faces Norwich City’s Todd Cantwell in the tournament this Thursday.
Unsurprisingly, the club’s tweet prompted lots of reactions from the SUFC faithful, with one fan dubbing Lundstram’s pass a “ball from heaven,” and another branding the clip “magnificent.”
