Sheffield United supporters are happy with the impact Oliver McBurnie has had, despite the Scottish international not having had too much joy in front of goal so far.

The 23-year-old became the Blades record signing in the summer when he joined from Swansea City for a fee believed to be around £20 million.
Things, though, haven’t quite happened just yet with his sole strike coming against Leicester City back in August.
However, that doesn’t mean that he is playing badly. In fact, he could have had another goal if an offside John Egan hadn’t attempted to head the ball before he tucked it away against Southampton, with VAR ultimately ruling it.
Added to that, he would have also had an assist to his name in the same match after playing a wonderful through ball to David McGoldrick, but he ultimately missed a one-on-one against Angus Gunn.
Having only just arrived, the Blades fans understand that it is still early in McBurnie’s career at the club. They are generally happy with what they have seen so far and believe it is only a matter of time before he starts finding the back of the net.
Here is what some Sheffield United fans have been saying about McBurnie’s performances this season on Twitter…
To be fair when everyone was going on about how good VvD was I didnt really see it… (in that game) thought McBurnie had proper roughed him up and made him look really uncomfortable which you don’t see a lot of… he’ll be reet.

He’s a proper grafter and led line well in my opinion. Good link up play aswell…

I really rate him, he works hard, holds the ball up and wins first headers and puts himself in dangerous positions. He unseated defenders but was never gonna score 25 goals this season.

He’s doing a great job for the team and is work rate is incredible we just don’t really seem to be creating many chances for him

Good layoff for Robinson in the Watford game & attitudes spot on… he’ll score at this level… ⚔️

I thought he was brilliant against Liverpool, held the ball up well. The lad needs to get himself in some better positions but for me hes not looked out of place at all
