Sheffield United left-back Enda Stevens was named as the PFA Ireland Overseas Player of the Year on Sunday (via @SheffieldUnited).
The 29-year-old has been outstanding in 2019 for the Blades. He was a major part of their promotion campaign in the Championship earlier in the year and even scored four goals towards the end of the season as they sealed second place (Transfermarkt).

He has since made a strong start to life in the top flight having played all 12 of their matches to date, keeping five clean sheets and registering two assists (Transfermarkt).
Had it not been for VAR he could have had a third assist against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday after setting up David McGoldrick, but it was eventually ruled out.
The form he has shown has seen him win the prestigious award from PFA Ireland, which has previously been won by the likes of Richard Dunne and Robbie Keane (sheffieldunited.news).
Plenty of Sheffield United fans have been reacting to Stevens winning the award, saying that he is a fully deserving winner.
Fully deserved, worked his socks off the last few seasons with dem Blades and totally looks at home in the Premier league ⚽ 🍻💪🏆
