Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern are not looking the happiest of punters at the moment and you can understand why that is the case right now.
In a worryingly predictable turn of events, things have not gone to plan in the transfer market and you can sense the sheer disharmony at the club – particularly between manager Rafa Benitez and the club’s owner Mike Ashley.
For sure, then, the fans find themselves once again worrying about their team in the Premier League and two losses to get things going has not helped matters.
For sure, then, there is a lot of work to do on the training field and in the transfer market and – as quoted by Mark Douglas on Twitter – Thierry Henry has suggested that Aleksandar Mitrovic should be given a chance to play.

Should start regardless of his goals. Get someone up alongside him. Gayle as a lone striker won’t work unless we create lots of chances.
