The Swedish forward was confirmed as a Man Utd player once again on Thursday, having signed a new one-year deal with the Red Devils.
A return definitely made sense: there is nobody better to nurture Romelu Lukaku, his last term ended on a bad note, and – perhaps most importantly – despite his years, he’s still able to score frequently.
All things together, a reunion worked well for both parties, and former Arsenal forward Thierry Henry thinks he knows another reason as to why Ibrahimovic was so keen to return.
As per Sky Sports, Henry said: “I think Zlatan takes it as a challenge that he has with himself. I think he wants to do more, and he still didn’t win the league.
He added: “I know that he wants to win the Premier League, to make England another country that he conquered”.
Ibrahimovic has conquered every single league that he has played in, and whilst he enjoyed a good debut year in the Premier League, ending the campaign without a Premier League winner’s medal will have disappointed him.
Clearly, then, he’s looking to right that wrong this term, and the Man Utd fans in the pub couldn’t be more excited.

Man Utd are looking very good at present, and they have a real chance at Premier League glory.
Two back-to-back 4-0 wins have left the fans in the pub feeling delighted, and the return of Ibrahimovic is only going to make them even more deadly.
The combinations between Lukaku and Ibrahimovic are going to be a joy to watch. He has a real chance of achieving that elusive Premier League medal this season.
