Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Sky Sports Understands… Wow!

Despite the January window being the poor cousin of the August one you have to give it high marks for trying.

The latest is Paul Robbo Robinson in a suggested move back to White Hart Lane. Robinson lost his shine as a player and his position as England’s No#1 one around about the same time. A once pretty formidable goalie deteriorated into a series of barrel rolls and hurt looks.

Time has moved on and Robbo is looking like a man with renewed confidence. If he’s born again and ready for the top, top flight is another question and one only Paul can answer when he gets there.

To my mind, part of his comeback is borne from his own ‘retirement’ from the England team. It’s a pity that in this time where the manager is a clown and many of the supposedly best players don’t treat the call up with much respect that more players can’t engineer ‘retirements’ for themselves.

The return would make great sense. Robbo is still loved by Spurs fans and his form vastly improved. If there is an ounce of truth in this, then it’s a thumbs up from me.

Well now, when it comes to football, one man has for many years been the most noticeable, the most controversial, and occasionally the most successful blogger this country has ever produced. His pithy words and abrasive style make him as famous off the pitch as he is on it. This man is Escapini. "I love football. Football she's a cruel mistress. She's, she's more than a mistress. She's a wife, she's a mother, she's a daughter, she's an errant child. She's a… she's a… she can make you laugh, she make you cry. She can bring tears me eyes. She can bring blood to me shoulders. She can bring a kettle to the boil." "Cause football is about nothing, unless it's about something and what it is about, is football."
