It’s time for West Ham to start improving their season.
The scenes in the Transfer Tavern on Saturday night were incredible as the relief on the local Hammers fans turned into jubilation, as they held on to a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace.
It was a game they deserved to win, in truth, and it highlighted the togetherness the squad still has as they dug in towards the end after Aaron Cresswell was sent off.
You have to credit Slaven Bilic for keeping them upbeat too as it would have been easy to let their heads go down after their start to this season.
Prior to the London derby, the Hammers had just won once in the Premier League all campaign but now the feeling is they can get going now.
Our landlord agrees, but reckons these TWO players in particular need to start feeling the love from Bilic so they don’t start feeling left out of the cause…
Ashley Fletcher

Fletcher should have been given more game-time this season just to see if he could change the Hammers’ fortunes.
We’ve seen the likes of Marcus Rashford break through for Manchester United and Fletcher must be wondering whether or not he’s going to get a chance soon too, when the likes of Simone Zaza are not performing ahead of him.
Reece Oxford

The young defender has massive potential and it’s a surprise we haven’t seen him more this season with the Hammers’ current struggles.
Bilic needs to make sure he keeps him happy because if not he could be losing a very promising player, and that would not please the fans when they want to see youngsters coming through as the future of the club.
