West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern have admitted their debut season at the London Stadium has been incredibly disappointing, and they’re hoping for big changes this summer.
The Hammers face a challenge to improve their ranks during the close-season ahead of a crucial campaign next season, and the difficulties that the East London side have faced this season has led to speculation on the future of Slaven Bilic.
Bilic’s position with the Hammers has come under threat following a campaign where West Ham flirted with relegation and secured an eleventh placed finish in the Premier League, with their array of recruits last summer failing to make a positive impression.
With changes afoot at West Ham, Bilic could be on the way out but passionate supporters have taken to social media to defend the popular Croatian boss, stating that he’s done a decent job and should be given the chance to take West Ham forward.
Our landlord agrees that Bilic should remain in charge and he’s happy to see supporters leap to the defence of their manager, as he feels stability is the key this year…..
