Southampton: Fans react as Nathan Redmond ruled out for ‘1-2 months’

Loads of Southampton were devastated to discover that Nathan Redmond will miss the next 1-2 months due to injury.

The Saints winger missed his side’s 2-1 defeat against Burnley as the 25-year-old was helpless to see his side fall to their 13th Premier League defeat of the season. Goals from Ashley Westwood and substitute Matej Vydra ensured that the visitors secured all three points, with manager Ralph Hasenhuttl delivering more bad news after the final whistle.

Radio Solent’s Adam Blackmore revealed on Twitter (via @AdamBlackmore) that the German tactician told him personally that the 25-year-old will be missing for the next month minimum, possibly two months, with the extent of the injury not confirmed. As a result, supporters were gutted and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that their season was over following the announcement, while another said that it was a “real shame” as their other wingers are not consistent enough.
