A lot of Southampton fans are loving a clip on Twitter of manager Ralph Hasenhuttl nutmegging former boss Ronald Koeman.
Koeman had a successful period on the South Coast and was in charge for 91 games, winning 44 whilst also leading the club to a sixth-place finish, which gained them a Europa League spot at the time. However, some fans are seemingly left with mixed emotions of the Dutchman as he left the side to move to fellow Premier League side Everton, per Transfermarkt.
Hasenhuttl had a very different job when he took over at St. Mary’s halfway through last season as his main aim was to keep the club in the division, which he managed, via Transfermarkt.
He has been dubbed abroad the ‘Alpine Klopp’, via The Guardian, and fans will hope that he can lead the club back to the heights that Koeman managed, but after a couple of poor results, the Saints are 14th with nine games to go.
