Many Southampton fans have been left buzzing as it was confirmed who will they will play in the Carabao Cup second round.
As per their official Twitter page, they will face Newport County away from home, who currently play their football in the EFL League Two.
Given that they are three divisions above them in the Premier League, this means that the St. Mary's faithful should have a good chance of going through into the next round of the competition.
Perhaps more importantly in this instance, it gives Saints supporters a chance to go on a new away trip after a year of football without fans, and so it is not a surprise to see so many of them buzzing when they heard who they were going to face.

These fans buzzed as the draw was announced on Twitter, with one Saints supporter exclaiming it is a cup tie they can get 'excited' for, while another described it as 'fantastic':
