Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react to their links with Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic.
The Croatian has found himself in and out of the Barcelona first-team this season, making just 21 La Liga appearances in total, scoring no goals and providing just three assists.
His contract with the club expires in the summer of 2021, and he recently admitted that he had been left disappointed by Barcelona’s attempts to use him as a makeweight in a proposed deal to bring back Neymar from French giants PSG.

Now, Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo have claimed Spurs are the latest side to register their interest in the midfielder, and could battle the likes of Sevilla, Atletico Madrid, Juventus or Napoli, amongst others, for his signature.
The report further adds that Rakitic prefers to wait before making a decision on his future, although his family’s welfare will play a role.
And after hearing about their links to the midfielder, Spurs fans took to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the situation.
