The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are not feeling too confident about this season…
A 2-0 defeat to Liverpool has left many questioning how well Tottenham can really do this season, with many giving up hope that the Lilywhites could seal a famous Premier League title win during the current campaign.
However, there is certainly reason to be hopeful for the Tottenham faithful – and that hope should come straight from the developmental system at White Hart Lane…
After all, the current Spurs side is doing well, and whilst Mauricio Pochettino will undoubtedly look to sign a few players in the summer – his needs could be made far less severe with the introduction of a few young players.
After all, there are a host of talented youngsters within the Tottenham academy that are more than ready to get regular game time.
With that said, Spurs fans need to seriously start getting excited about these 2 emerging young stars…
Marcus Edwards

If Tottenham fans don’t know much about Marcus Edwards now, they will surely will before too long.
The young midfielder has been making strides lately, and if this season isn’t his – then next year surely will be.
A winger by trade, Edwards is quick, technical and offensive – and he could certainly do a job in the Tottenham first team.
There is no rush, of course, given that he is just 18-years-old – but Pochettino has had success fielding young players in the past, and he surely will do again if he risks Edwards.
Josh Onomah

Josh Onomah has already had a number of chances this season, and he looks likely to get more as the season progresses.
Like Edwards, he is an impressive midfielder that has sparkled whenever he has been given a chance.
He has made 10 appearences in all competitions so far this season, which is mightily impressive for a player of just 19-years-old.
