Spurs should splash the cash on this £36m-rated striker to ease the pressure on Harry Kane

Spurs will be seeking a successful summer in the transfer market this time around as they look to add the players to their squad to push them closer to that elusive first Premier League title.

The Whites, with Champions League qualification once again secured, have been tremendous over the last few seasons and will be hoping to see some positive results when it comes to adding quality to the ranks.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino will no doubt have his eyes on some players already, and our landlord here at the Tavern thinks that the club would be wise to look to splash some cash to ensure they continue to build on their momentum of the past couple of years.

One player who has been getting a few mentions over the past few days is Torino striker Andrea Belotti, who has been in impressive form the last couple of seasons.

Valued at £36m by Transfermarkt, the Italian might have only managed 10 goals last season, but his all around game has improved dramatically, and there’s a strong chance his game would come on even more if given the chance to play for a top club like Spurs.

At 24, many would consider Belotti the ideal sort of age to make his move to England and further build on what is already shaping up as an impressive looking career.

Goals, good movement, and a desire to improve, mark out Belotti as someone who can come into the London club and help take the burden away from Harry Kane in front of goal.
