The Sunderland fans in The Transfer Tavern are gathered around the jukebox selecting some tunes discussing reports of further transfer incomings at the club.
The Sunderland Echo is reporting that club manager Sam Allardyce would like to make two more additions to his squad if as expected the loan deal for Hull striker Dame N’Doye is completed.
Allardyce knows he will have to ship players out to secure anymore incomings unless the club’s chairman Ellis Short is feeling generous. Speaking about his transfer market desires Allardyce said:
“I would like to get two more if I can but I’m bordering on the generosity of the owner if I don’t get anybody out. And also, I’ve got to be very aware of the wage scenario today with the regulations.”
The Sunderland fans in The Transfer Tavern are hopeful Allardyce will get the green light to add further to his squad as they hope to see their beloved club remain in the Premier League come the end of the season.
Our landlord feels with the right additions Sunderland will avoid the drop but the fear is clear on the faces of our punters.
