Queens Park Rangers’ Brazilian midfielder Sandro has fallen way down the pecking order at Loftus Road and a section of R’s fans in the Transfer Tavern have been drawn towards an article run by Shoot.
The article claims that the combative midfielder could be set for a January move up north to become one of Sam Allardyce’s first signings as Sunderland boss.
Sandro has featured just three times for the R’s in the Championship this season and is thought to be among the top earners at the club.
R’s boss Chris Ramsey clearly doesn’t fancy the midfielder and could sell him to Sunderland to create funds for his own new additions, as he looks to take Rangers back into the top flight at the first attempt.
The opinionated landlord in the Tavern thinks Sandro could thrive working under ‘Big Sam.’ He said:
“Sandro would be a superb addition for the Black Cats. He is less of a liability than Lee Cattermole and is better on the ball too.”
Sunderland fans… Do you agree with the landlord? How would Sandro get on back in the Premier League? Is he an Allardyce sort of player? Let us know in the comments below!
