‘Swap him for Rose’ – Tottenham fans are desperate for Pochettino to land £58.5m-rated attacker

The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are hopeful that next season will see Mauricio Pochettino’s men add a bit more consistency to their game.

The Lilywhites have been unstoppable on their day this season, but a lack of consistency has forced them out of contention for the Premier League title.

Clearly, then, Mauricio Pochettino would be wise to add a couple of players to his squad in an effort to improve the team and take it to the next level, and according to the Independent, the Lilywhites could be keen to do just that.

Indeed, the publication is reporting that Tottenham have a long-held interest in Man Utd attacker Anthony Martial, who is facing an uncertain future as he could be deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford this summer.

Martial, who is rated at £58.5 million by Transfer Markt, has been impressive for Man Utd this season, but ever the divisive manager, Jose Mourinho may not see him in his long-term plan at Old Trafford.

Whilst Mourinho may not see the benefit of having him in the team, the Tottenham fans over on Twitter certainly do, and that’s why they are desperate to see him move to North London this summer.

Clearly sensing an opportunity, no matter how unlikely it could be, Spurs fans are keen to see the Frenchman at Tottenham next season, potentially in a deal that could take Danny Rose up to Manchester.
