Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are gearing up for a massive London derby as they host Spurs later on tonight at the London Stadium.
The Hammers really have not had a good season but they won’t be going down and so all they’ll be hoping is that they can at least finish the campaign strongly to offer the fans some hope.
Indeed, a game against Spurs would surely be the perfect incentive for the players to go out and put on a show with the men from White Hart Lane still going for the Premier League title.
The London Stadium, then, should have a decent atmosphere for this one – though it has been criticised for not having as such throughout the year, and the debate around the ground move is still rumbling on Twitter.
Indeed, David Gold retweeted a fan’s comments that appeared to at least accept a move from Upton Park was needed and, naturally, there was a reaction.
Here, then, is the best of what was said:
@SamWoolley7 @SimplyDazza @davidgold @coys100 We had to leave UP, could not develop plus access was shocking,OS may not hv been answer but we are at least progressing and not stagnating

@stevecargo @davidgold @SamWoolley7 @SimplyDazza @coys100 Why is it Gold only retweets people who agree with them and not the thousands who don’t ? Need a bit more balance mr gold

@stevecargo @davidgold @SamWoolley7 @SimplyDazza @coys100 It takes longer to get to the OS & we are still £100m ish in debt. Explain how they “saved” us?

@stevecargo @davidgold @SamWoolley7 @SimplyDazza @coys100 No, it wasn’t the answer. So why were we all told it would be amazing? Dodgy Dave lying again? No way!
