Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are fairly excited about the future, even if this season hasn’t exactly gone to plan.
For sure, this campaign really has been a struggle with things surely going wrong at pretty much every turn.
Even so, though, the club are going to be in the Premier League next year – barring the most unlikely turn around in the table – and that should lead Slaven Bilic and the board to try and sign some better players than last summer.
And, added to that, the club will have the likes of Reece Oxford and Josh Cullen returning from their loan spells with the latter certainly playing well this season.
Indeed, he’s been awarded The White Abbey Supporters Branch Player of the Year award for Bradford City and that certainly suggests he’s got a bit of talent about him.
