The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are very excited about the future. The Gunners’ new-look squad is exciting the Emirates faithful, with both Pierre-Emerick Aubemayang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan impressing on their Arsenal debuts.
However, that isn’t where the excitement is likely to end. Sure, the Gunners’ current squad is looking good and is likely to impress over the coming years, but there is also a huge amount of exciting talent currently developing within Arsenal’s youth ranks.
One such player is Eddie Nketiah, who made his Arsenal debut in the Carabao Cup earlier this season. Just 18-years-old, Nketiah has been making quite the impact over the last few years – and he continued in that quest last night whilst representing the Arsenal under-23s.
In typical fashion, he scored a hat-trick for the team, and it’s fair to say that his exploits have not gone unnoticed.
Indeed, following the game, Arsenal fans have been discussing his performance, and they have certainly been impressed.
Some are expecting him to be fast-tracked into the first team, whilst others aren’t surprised at just how good he is as he does it so often.
