The potential new-look 2017/18 Man Utd strike force including Zlatan Ibrahimovic

It’s looking set to be a very good season for the Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern…

They’ve enjoyed back-to-back wins against Swansea City and West Ham, with Jose Mourinho’s side looking set to make a real go of it in the Premier League.

Their side is full of quality players, and now they’ve added another one.

As confirmed on the official Man Utd website, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has returned to the club on a one-year deal, with his previous deal having ended earlier this summer.

It’s a massive boost for the Red Devils, and it gives Jose Mourinho yet another option in the attack – with Man Utd’s already lethal attack now looking even better.

There are a few options now for Jose Mourinho, so how exactly will he line up?

With that said, is this the potential new-look 2017/18 Man Utd strike force including Zlatan Ibrahimovic?

 LW – Anthony Martial

Anthony Martial isn’t a starter at the moment, but his fine form at the start of the season certainly hints at a player that is destined for greatness.

Mourinho can’t keep leaving him on the bench, as at present he is performing fantastically.

 CAM – Zlatan Ibrahimovic

He’s back!

Zlatan had a stellar first season in Manchester, but the arrival of Romelu Lukaku could force him out of his natural number 9 position.

As his age, he’ll look to be on the ball more and be chasing after it a little bit less. Thus, a role behind the striker could be perfect.

He’s always been a good passer of the ball, and he’ll look to capitalise on that in this role.

 RW – Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is an inconsistent player, but on his day he is simply fantastic.

He’s an expert at creating goals and last season he often popped up on the scoresheet himself.

The midfielder really needs to kick on this season.

 ST – Romelu Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku has made an excellent start to life at Old Trafford, and there’s no way that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will force him out of this team.

That said, the Belgian will be able to learn a lot from the Swede, and his balls from deep will allow him to score even more frequently.

What a partnership this will be.
