‘The sky is the limit’ - Chelsea fans erupt after major announcement

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are absolutely delighted…

N’Golo Kante has been nothing short of a revelation at Chelsea this season. Whilst he impressed at Leicester City last year, the Frenchman has truly flourished under Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge – proving vital to Chelsea’s turnaround.

Whilst Chelsea finished in 10th place last year, they look set to win the Premier League this year – and Kante is the man that Conte can thank in large part for his side’s remarkable turnaround.

Of course, a Premier League winner’s medal will be a fantastic reward for Kante’s form, but his trophy case is seemingly getting pretty full – with the Frenchman announced earlier today as the recipient of the Football Writer’s Footballer of the Year Award.

A deserved award, the Chelsea fans on Twitter have spent the last few hours revelling in delight at the news – with many thanking Kante for his fine performances this year en route to the Blues’ seemingly impending Premier League title win. In fact, some even think that the Frenchman is just getting started…

Kante is having that Bale 13 and Hazard 15 season in terms of personal accolades. Won't be surprised if he adds Fans POTY to his PFA and FWA
