Arsenal host Swansea City on Monday evening at the Emirates, knowing another three points will keep themselves in poll position for a top two finish.
The Gunners have been fantastic since the turn of the year, losing just one league game since the defeat to Southampton that sparked a change on New Years Day, and winning nine of their last 10 Premier League matches.
Had it not been for a slow start, Arsene Wenger’s side may well have mounted a serious challenge for the title.
That will have to wait until next season however, although supporters will be hoping their boss never has to field this XI, one which we have identified as the worst he could possibly pick next season.

Wojciech Szczesny
It has been a season to forget for Arsenal’s Polish goalkeeper, who has lost his first team place to David Ospina during the second half of the season.
Statistically, the Colombian has been the best goalkeeper in the country since taking over from Szczesny, with the Gunners losing just one league game with him between the sticks.
It will be tough for Szczesny to wrestle back his first team place next season, esepcially with reports continuing to link the Gunners with a move for Chelsea’s Petr Cech.
Carl Jenkinson
The young full back has spent the season on loan at West Ham United, where he has enjoyed a decent campaign.
But in the time in which he has been away from the Emirates, Hector Bellerin has established himself as Arsenal’s right back for the future.
With Mathieu Debuchy still to return from injury, Jenkinson will return to the Emirates as the third choice for next season.
Mathieu Debuchy
It has been an injury plagued first season for the Frenchman, who has suffered two serious injuries over the course of the campaign.
When fit, Debuchy has also been asked to play in the unfamiliar role of centre back due to the Gunners early season injury problems.
That is a situation Arsene Wenger hopes he won’t have to find himself in next season, with the former Newcastle man obviously more comfortable at right back.
Nacho Monreal
Like Debuchy, Nacho Monreal has been called upon to fill in at centre back during a season in which Arsenal have found themselves short of numbers.
The Spaniard has beeen impressive at left back over the course of campaign, and has not let the Gunners down when called upon.
But next season Wenger will be hoping to see Laurent Koscielny stay fit and January signing Gabirel Paulista come good, so Monreal can feature in his most natural position.
Isaac Hayden
Arsenal are one of the most well stocked teams in the country with regards to full backs, with Mathieu Debuchy, Calum Chambers, Hector Bellerin, Keiran Gibbs and Nacho Monreal all impressing over various stages of the season.
Only an injury crisis would see academy graduate Isaac Hayden called upon to cover in the back four.
The 20-year-old has featured in both full back positions as well as defensive midfield for the Under-21 side, and although he has a bright future, he is not yet ready for first team action, with just one Capital One Cup appearance to his name thus far.
Mikel Arteta
The Spaniard saw his performance level drop during the second half of 2013-14, and this year he has been little more than a bit part player.
Unable to dictate the pace of the game like he used to, it would be a surprise to see Arteta remain at the Emirates beyond the summer, with the former Everton man’s best days now clearly behind him.
Mathieu Flamini
Like Arteta, the Frenchman is a fading force in the middle of the park nowadays.
Young Francis Coquelin has done a fine job since being drafted into that defensive midfield role since the turn of the year, whilst the Gunners are expected to bring in further reinforcements for that position in the summer, in a move that would leave Flamini surplus to requirements at the Emirates.
Abou Diaby
It is hard to believe the Frenchman is still on the books at the Emirates.
A contender for perhaps the most injury plagued player in the country, Diaby has managed just one appearance in another frustrating campaign.
If he were to remain at the club beyond the summer, it is impossible to predict what his performance level would be like if he were to eventually return to fitness.
But having been out of action for the best part of two years, we are guessing it would take a bit of time to return to the impressive level at which he once was.
Serge Gnabry
The young German is another who has endured an injury plagued campaign, at a time in which he looked as though he may be breaking into the first team set up.
Gnabry offers plenty of pace in the wide areas, but is still raw and struggles to produce a consistent end product.
With the likes of Alexis Sanchez ahead of him in the pecking order, it would be considered a major step down for the Gunners if he were to be starting next season.
Yaya Sanogo
The Frenchman has spent the second half of the season on loan at Crystal Palace, having failed to register a Premier League goal during his Arsenal career so far.
His long term future remains up in the air, with Sanogo seemingly splitting opinion between those who do not rate him, and those who believe he will come good once he has matured and settled into English football.
Never-the-less, he is currently not anywhere near the same level as his fellow countryman Olivier Giroud.
Joel Campbell
Another young striker who has struggled to make an impact at the Emirates, Joel Campbell has spent the second half of the season on loan at La Liga side Villarreal.
After an impressive World Cup for Costa Rica last summer, many expected Campbell would be given more of a chance to show Arsenal fans what he can do.
It has simply not been the case however, and it remains to be seen as to whether he will remain at the club beyond the summer.
