West Ham United fans were sobbing into their empty pint pots way into the early hours of Sunday morning here in the Transfer Tavern last week, following their 5-1 thrashing by London rivals Arsenal.

It has been a miserable season for the new residents of the London Stadium and the club is really struggling to get their feet under the table inside their new home, with a long season looking likely on current form.
Boss Slaven Bilic will probably enter the transfer market during the January transfer window, whilst some other players who aren’t in his plans might look to leave the club.

Ashley Fletcher
Fletcher hasn’t really had much of an impact for the Hammers since his summer switch from Manchester United and a loan move would be beneficial for his development.
The youngster has been used largely as a substitute and he needs to leave the club on loan if he isn’t going to be starting games during the second half of the campaign.
Fletcher would be a quality addition to most sides in the Championship and League One and should he become available he will have no shortage of suitors.
Sam Byram
The man who joined West Ham from Leeds United last January has seen his opportunities to play regular football evaporate this season, with a loan move desperately needed for the player.
At present the 23-year-old is nursing a hamstring injury but if he does get back to full fitness in the next few weeks, then he should look to wave goodbye to the London Stadium at least on a temporary basis.
Byram can operate in a forward role or as a right-back and his versatility would make him a quality signing for any Championship club.
