With under a week to go until the season gets under way, aspiring Premier League managers up and down the country are looking to cobble together their best XI for the upcoming Fantasy Football Dream team competition.

Harry Kane

About as obvious as it gets this one.

A staggering 28 goals helped Spurs into third place in the Premier League last season but if we’re being honest, it could have been even better for Pochettino’s men had they not slumped at the end of the season.

He’ll be the kingpin of hundreds of Fantasy teams up and down the country and sorry it’s an obvious choice- it’s because he’s one of the best choices too.

Dele Alli

Dele Alli had a superb season last time out and we’re expecting him to start the new season, with the same tenacity he showed during Spurs’ campaign last year.

He’s a box-to-box midfielder who scores plenty of goals and gets lots of man-of-the-match awards too.

For a Fantasy Footie manager, he’s the dream.

Victor Wanyama

Perhaps the most obscure name on this list, we’re backing newbie Victor Wanyama to come in and really settle the Spurs midfield this season.

His signing gives the likes of Dele Alli even more freedom to go forward, meaning he’ll do a lot of the tidying up in the middle of the park.

Not the most inspiring, exciting of names in your team, but he’ll be reliable and will tick along nicely as the season progresses.
