Amongst the Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern, nobody is more popular than Harry Kane. The Englishman is a hero amongst our resident Lilywhites, having built a fearsome reputation for being one of Europe’s best forwards – all whilst representing Spurs.
Having developed through the youth academy at the club, fans have a special connection with the forward, and he has a special connection with the club all the same.
It will come as no surprise, then, to learn that the club have today been celebrating the sixth anniversary of his first goal for the club. Though it seems like a long time ago now, especially given how many he has bagged since, it’s a moment that most of the fans in the pub will never forget.
Kane himself hasn’t forgotten it, either, having responded to the Tweet on his official page, mentioning how ‘so much’ can change over the course of six years.
