Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are certainly looking forward to their team signing players in the summer window as they aim to build on last year.
2016/17 will not live long in the memory after the Hammers really did struggle to build on what they achieved the season before.
Instead, they had to make do with a mid-table finish and now the men from east London need to sign some top players in the summer window to make sure they can get further up the league.
They’ll also be keen, though, to see their side welcome back some of the injured players before the start of the campaign and it appears Pedro Obiang should be ready for that.
Indeed, David Gold has suggested as such on Twitter with fans certainly reacting.
Here’s the best of what was said:
Pedro Obiang says he will be fit for pre-season. The midfielder has been working hard on his rehab after suffering a ankle injury. dg pic.twitter.com/meaV12ATLp

Is it true we can’t play a pre season friendly on our pitch? I won’t use “our home” because that it’s not
