Spurs certainly aren’t going to let Chelsea walk away with the Premier League title and their supporters here in the pub are anticipating a fight to the finish come the end of the season!

It’s been a cracking couple of months for Mauricio Pochettino and his side, who have really increased the pressure on Antonio Conte’s Chelsea, who still have lots of work to do if they’re to secure the Premier League title come the end of the season.

But for Spurs, overtaking the Blues is going to be tough but not impossible and there’s real thought in north London that if the team can win all of their remaining games, they’ll have more than a chance.

But going forward and into this summer, it’s clear that there are a certain number of players in the Spurs ranks that just aren’t cutting it at the club right now.

And after a brief and frank chat with our Spurs-mad punters, we’ve come up with a couple of individuals that don’t deserve their place in the squad any longer.

So with that in mind, here’s the 2 Spurs stars that need to be axed from the club this summer…

Vincent Janssen

It’s clear that when Harry Kane is on the scene for Spurs and scoring regularly, he’s the man that is going to lead the side to glory going forward.

That means little game-time or support for Vincent Janssen, who is quite simply playing in Kane’s shadow.

He’s never going to be the number one man at White Hart Lane and for the sake of his career, he might be better off leaving.

Georges-Kevin N’Koudou

It’s been a very disappointing season for Kevin N’Koudou, who arrived at White Hart Lane with a serious reputation last summer.

But it really hasn’t worked out for the Frenchman and at times, he’s struggled to even make the match-day squad.

It looks like Pochettino has his favourites and if there’s no room for N’Koudou, he should leave the club.
