It looks as though the Bob Bradley appointment at Swansea isn’t working, with our resident Swans fans here in the Transfer Tavern concerned that relegation is around the corner.
The former United States boss was brought into the club as a replacement for Francesco Guidolin in a bid to improve the Welsh side’s fortunes, but a win is still proving too hard to earn.
The club have not secured three points since the opening day against Burnley, and are now two victories away from 17th place with them level on points with Sunderland at the bottom of the table.
It was always going to prove a risk in bringing the American in with his distinct lack of Premier League knowledge and, at the moment, it is looking like it’s going to backfire.

Sam Allardyce
Allardyce famously got sacked from the England job after just one game but could now profit from another manager’s short stint in charge.
He may not match the exact type of football Swansea play but surely they’d be willing to sacrifice that to ensure they stay in the top flight.
Allardyce has proven himself time and time again and despite what you think of him, he’d almost certainly guarantee staying up.
Alan Curtis
Curtis knows Swansea inside out and would certainly get the patience and respect of both the players and the fans if he was given the job on a permanent deal.
We’ve seen with Mike Phelan at Hull City that sometimes it’s best to appoint a manager that’s already at the club, as the Tigers are looking stable and stability is exactly what they’d get if they were to promote their former player.
Marcelo Bielsa
Bielsa has been touted for the Swans job before so why not just cut to the chase and appoint him now?
The Welsh club need an experience man who knows what he is doing in this situation and they do not come much more experienced than Bielsa.
He’s highly regarded by many in the world of football and would almost certainly get a reaction out of the players straight away.
