The season is only seven games in and already we have seen some cracking goals. When looking for the genuine eye catchers so far it’s a case of the old, ‘many are called but few are chosen’ phrase.
Well, these are my top goals so far. Enjoy!
Ashley Young’s first goal against Arsenal in their demolishing 8-2 victory over the Gunners
Edin Dzeko’s cracking left foot strike against Tottenham Hotspur. It was his 4th goal that really stood out for the 25-year-old Bosnian.
Frank Lampard’s second goal was an all round brilliant team effort goal. Lampard had started the move off, and to top things off finished the move with a coolly side footed shot.
Nani’s spectacular left footed strike from the edge of the area against Chelsea in their 3-1 victory over Chelsea.
Luka Modric’s stunning curl from 25 yards out against Liverpool. As a Spurs fan it was great to see him stay, and this strike justified why Levy wanted desperately to keep hold of the Croatian.
