The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern haven’t stopped discussing how impressive they thought their side was against Everton over the weekend…
Though a late fightback from Everton made a few fans a bit nervous, the result was never really in doubt – with the Lilywhites always on course to secure three more points in the Premier League.
The game has got a lot of people talking, but it would appear as though one of Tottenham’s players is in no mood to talk!
In a hilarious video posted on Tottenham’s official Instagram page, Jan Vertonghen – who appears to be in a rush – delivers a succinct and quick 3-word response to his side’s performance against Everton.
The video, which can be seen below, sees Vertonghen respond to the question: ‘What did you think of the game today?’ with the simple response: ‘Yeah, very good’.
We can only assume that he was in a rush to catch the team bus, but clearly Vertonghen had no time to waste!
Certainly, the Belgian has done his talking on the pitch this season – with a succession of impressive displays. With 22 appearances and an average whoscored.com rating of 7.22 – it has been an impressive season for the defender so far.
