Our Tottenham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are certainly looking back on this season fondly after another campaign of superb football from their team.
After a sluggish start to the campaign, the Lilywhites really found their stride and arguably finished the season as the most impressive outfit in the league.
Of course, they need to win the Premier League title to make that a fact but their last two games of this season certainly suggest they’re already ready for 2017/18.
Indeed, they scored 13 away goals in their last two games with 6-1 and 7-1 wins respectively – leaving them to record this rather impressive stat – via Leon Wobschall on Twitter:
Over 4 days, Spurs have scored 13 away goals. That is three more than Boro have managed in a whole season.

Premier League rivals Middlesbrough, then, really did struggle in front of goal all season and this stat has certainly been reflected in the two side’s finishing places in the league.
