Tottenham Hotspur fans assembling in the Transfer Tavern to show their support for Bayern Munich this evening are excitedly discussing a player who could become their latest recruit.
Metro report that Spurs maintain interest in impressive 17-year-old Shilow Tracey, an Ebbsfleet United teenager that spent a week on-trial with the North London side last week.
Representatives of the club are then said to have watched the youngster in FA Youth Cup action and could be set to give Tracey another chance of landing himself a contract with the Premier League outfit.
Ebbs fleet boss Daryl McMahon, who has seen the teenager make just one senior appearance so far, rates the youngster very highly as he said recently.
‘It went OK for him, he’s probably going to go back for another trial. He was there for three days, three training sessions – he’s back playing with us now.’
‘He’s a very good player. He’s an excellent young talent and if nothing comes out of it with Spurs, I’m sure he will be featuring in our first team in no time.’
