Vincent Janssen’s time at Tottenham Hotspur has been far what many had expected it would have been when he joined.
Having arrived in the summer of 2016 for a fee of £19.89million, per Transfermarkt, the Dutch international arrived with some promise.
Now 24-years-old, the striker had lit the Eredivisie with his ability to find the net on a regular basis, however, he failed to adapt to the Premier League.
Janssen has been touted with a move away from Spurs to try and get his career back on track, and according to a report, it appears he may be given another chance in England’s top-flight.
However, the report does fail to name any possible destination, although they all regard him as a low priority signing.
The Verdict:

Janssen’s career at Tottenham certainly appears to be over as Mauricio Pochettino continues to leave him out of his side.
A move to another Premier League outfit, where he could get some regular football, could benefit the Holland international and could help him to make a breakthrough in the English game.
Spurs will also do well to offload the 24-year-old from their books, although they will likely want to add a striker to help provide Harry Kane with some competition, as well as some much-needed cover.
